  1. Your FamilyLIFE account and services are made available to you by 7-TEL, Inc. ("7-TEL"). By using your FamilyLIFE account, you acknowledge your receipt of and agreement with these Terms of Use and any amendments made hereafter..

  2. You authorize any charges incurred from the use of your FamilyLIFE account to be billed to you through your charge or credit card account or to be replenished with prepaid FamilyMinute cards. You may use the FamilyLIFE account only so long as your charge or credit card remains valid and in good standing or if you continue to recharge your FamilyLIFE account with prepaid FamilyMinute cards. Your FamilyLIFE account must not be used after your account or your charge or credit card has expired or has been withdrawn, revoked, or terminated or you have not replenished the account with FamilyMinute prepaid cards. You continue to be responsible to 7-TEL for any charges resulting from the use of your FamilyLIFE account after your charge or credit card has been terminated or you have failed to replenish your account with prepaid FamilyMinute cards, or after you revoke your authorization to bill your account, which charges will be payable immediately to 7-TEL.

  3. Your FamilyLIFE account is not transferable in any way and may not be assigned to any third party. You agree to pay for all charges incurred by use of the FamilyLIFE account issued to you and comply with the other terms and conditions set forth herein. All charges incurred through use of your FamilyLIFE account and debited to your credit card account are subject to the credit card finance charges appearing on your account statement, in accordance with the terms and conditions of that account.

  4. Charges for the services will be rated and charged in accordance with the rates provided herein or any promotional offer during the published terms of such offer by 7-TEL in United States dollars at a flat rate per minute (as provided in our price list). Our rates are calculated at increments of 60 seconds. The amount debited will include any applicable taxes, and will be shown in the currency provided for in your charge or credit card agreement. All prices are subject to change without prior notice. Our rates do not include additional charges you may receive for terminating a call to a cell phone.


Per Minute Calling:

  1. Generally, the calls on the No FEE Rates, Plus Rates, and Super Rates plans are charged on a per minute basis. The price of calls is deducted from your account balance. Under these calling plans, users can call to anywhere in the world that 7-TEL provides service from anywhere in the world that 7-TEL provides service.

  2. These plans include calls to mobile phones, but rates to mobile phones are often charged at a different rate.

  3. There is no monthly charge for the "Per Minute – No FEE Rates " calling plan. Per minute rates for all calls will be charged according to the rate table for Per Minute – No FEE Rates. No EE Rate customers are subject to 7-TEL expiration rules.

  4. The service charge for the "Per Minute – Plus Rates " calling plan is 65¢ monthly. Per minute rates for all calls will be charged according to the rate table for Per Minute – Plus Rates. Accounts under the Savings plan are not subject to expiration as long as funds remain in the account. Should funds in any user's account fall below the 65¢ required to pay the monthly service charge, that Savings plan will be replaced with Per Minute – No FEE Rates plan and be subject to the Terms of Use for that plan.

  5. The monthly service charge for the "Per Minute – Super Rates " calling plan is $1.99 monthly. Per minute rates for all calls will be charged according to the rate table for Per Minute - Super Rates. Accounts under the Super Rates plan are not subject to expiration as long as funds remain in the account. Should funds in any user's account fall below the 1.99¢ required to pay the monthly service charge, that Super Rates plan will be replaced with Per Minute – No FEE Rates plan and be subject to the Terms of Use for that plan.

General:

  1. All Monthly Service Charges and Monthly Recurring Charges and any additional per minute charges incurred will be deducted from your prepaid debit account, directly from your credit card or from your prepaid FamilyMinutes card. The amount debited will include any applicable taxes, and will be shown in the currency provided for in your charge or credit card agreement. In the case of deducting from your prepaid debit account should your debit account balance drop below $2.50, your credit card will automatically be recharged in the amount specified by you during sign up. All prices are subject to change without prior notice.

  2. If a user chooses to activate or switch to a different calling plan, the plan the user is already participating in will stay active until the end of the month and enrollment in the new plan will begin on the date of the next billing cycle.

  3. Any calling plan or Inbox service may be terminated by 7-TEL upon failure to charge your FamilyLIFE account.

  4. Unless otherwise noted, your FamilyLIFE account will expire in 120 days from your last charge (financial transaction of adding funds to your account). Any funds remaining in your FamilyLIFE account upon expiration will be forfeited.

  5. If 7-TEL suspects fraudulent use of your account, it may be suspended or terminated without notice.

  6. If your FamilyLIFE account is refused by the 7-TEL Global Network as an invalid number, or used without authorization, please immediately contact CustomerCare@7-TEL.com.

  7. Prepayments will be debited to your credit card upon registration within no more than for 3 working days following registration. Any disputed charges must be brought to our attention, in writing, within sixty (60) days of the charges or you will have waived your right to dispute the charges. 7-TEL reserves the right to cancel your FamilyLIFE account at any time.

  8. Any disputes concerning the use of your FamilyLIFE account requiring judicial resolution shall be determined in the Courts of the State of California under the laws of the State of California.

  9. You acknowledge that Value Added Taxes may apply to calls made through the use of the 7-TEL accounts and you will be responsible for any Value Added Tax.

  10. The liability of 7-TEL or any of its affiliated, employees, agents or service providers arising from errors or omissions in the provision of the services is limited to an amount equal to the charge for any such services.

7-TEL has no obligation to monitor the Service or any user's use thereof or retain the content of any user session. However, 7-TEL reserves the right at all times to monitor, review, retain and/or disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request.
